GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a rice mill in a village by operators of a rice mill in a village under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a rice mill in a village carrying on the running of a rice mill in a village shall furnish Form 6 to the Gram Sabha within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a rice mill in a village carrying on the running of a rice mill in a village shall make an application in Form 6 to the Gram Sabha within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a rice mill in a village is undertaken, and the Gram Sabha shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
