STANDING ORDER
To
All Insecticide Inspectors,
Subject: The sale of insecticides by dealers in insecticides under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969 (Kerala Act 21 of 1969), the Excise Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sale of insecticides by dealers in insecticides.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in insecticides carrying on the sale of insecticides shall make an application in Form D to the Board within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. The Insecticide Inspector shall ensure that sample is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board within seven days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of Kerala.
