STANDING ORDER
To
All Incident Commanders,
Subject: The construction of buildings in a vulnerable area by owners of a building in a vulnerable area under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area by owners of a building in a vulnerable area.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building in a vulnerable area carrying on the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area shall make an application in Form C to the Director of Fire Services within three days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. The Incident Commander shall ensure that plan is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Fire Services within three days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
