STANDING ORDER

To

All Drawing and Disbursing Officers,

Subject: The provision of consultancy services to the Government by empanelled consultants under the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012 (Rajasthan Act 21 of 2012), the Law Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the provision of consultancy services to the Government by empanelled consultants.

2. The matter has been examined. Every empanelled consultant carrying on the provision of consultancy services to the Government shall make an application in Form GFR 40 to the Procurement Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Drawing and Disbursing Officer shall ensure that register of contracts is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Procurement Authority within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Rajasthan.
