STANDING ORDER
To
All Agricultural Officers,
Subject: The raising of plants in a nursery by nursery growers under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969 (Kerala Act 21 of 1969), the Finance Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the raising of plants in a nursery by nursery growers.
2. The matter has been examined. Every nursery grower carrying on the raising of plants in a nursery shall make an application in Form C to the Director of Agriculture within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. The Agricultural Officer shall ensure that licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Agriculture within thirty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Kerala.
