STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Collectors,

Subject: The execution of relief works by contractors for relief works under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Environment Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the execution of relief works by contractors for relief works.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for relief works carrying on the execution of relief works shall make an application in Form C to the Civil Defence Controller within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Collector shall ensure that warning is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Civil Defence Controller within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
