STANDING ORDER
To
All Adjudicating Officers,
Subject: The maintenance of a housing complex by facility management agencies under the Maharashtra Rent Control Act, 1999, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Rent Control Act, 1999 (Maharashtra Act 18 of 1999), the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the maintenance of a housing complex by facility management agencies.
2. The matter has been examined. Every facility management agency carrying on the maintenance of a housing complex shall make an application in Form C to the Competent Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. The Adjudicating Officer shall ensure that register of projects is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Competent Authority within ninety days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
