STANDING ORDER
To
All Incident Commanders,
Subject: The transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Tourism Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals.
2. The matter has been examined. Every transporter of hazardous chemicals carrying on the transport of hazardous chemicals shall make an application in Form A to the State Authority within one day, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. The Incident Commander shall ensure that shelter is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Authority within one day.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
