STANDING ORDER

To

All Civil Defence Officers,

Subject: The fire safety of a place of public assembly by owners of a place of public assembly under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the fire safety of a place of public assembly by owners of a place of public assembly.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a place of public assembly carrying on the fire safety of a place of public assembly shall make an application in Form B to the State Authority within three days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Civil Defence Officer shall ensure that relief material is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Authority within three days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
