STANDING ORDER

To

All Drawing and Disbursing Officers,

Subject: The execution of contracts by contractors under the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012 (Rajasthan Act 21 of 2012), the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the execution of contracts by contractors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor carrying on the execution of contracts shall make an application in Form GFR 12-C to the Controller General of Accounts within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Drawing and Disbursing Officer shall ensure that contract is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Controller General of Accounts within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan.
