GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The use of a transport vehicle by permit holders under the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1974, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the registering authority, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every permit holder carrying on the use of a transport vehicle shall furnish Form 23 to the Government of Tamil Nadu within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every permit holder carrying on the use of a transport vehicle shall make an application in Form 23 to the Government of Tamil Nadu within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of a transport vehicle is undertaken, and the Government of Tamil Nadu shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
