Section 1, Provisional Insolvency Act, 1920 [S17-0HR]
As at 8 September 2026. In force from 22 October 1920.
1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Provisional Insolvency Act, 1920. (2) It extends to the whole of India. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
