GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Revenue Inspector, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall furnish Form 1 to the Tahsildar within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Tahsildar within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
