GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of property on behalf of an owner by property managers under the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Rent Controller, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every property manager carrying on the management of property on behalf of an owner shall furnish Form A to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every property manager carrying on the management of property on behalf of an owner shall make an application in Form A to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of property on behalf of an owner is undertaken, and the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
