STANDING ORDER

To

All Treasury Officers,

Subject: The conduct of Government business by a bank by bank conducting Government businesses under the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012 (Rajasthan Act 21 of 2012), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conduct of Government business by a bank by bank conducting Government businesses.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bank conducting Government business carrying on the conduct of Government business by a bank shall make an application in Form GFR 19 to the Government of Rajasthan within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Treasury Officer shall ensure that sanction order is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Rajasthan within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Rajasthan.
