STANDING ORDER

To

All Fire Officers,

Subject: The holding of a mass gathering by organisers of a mass gathering under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Home Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of a mass gathering by organisers of a mass gathering.

2. The matter has been examined. Every organiser of a mass gathering carrying on the holding of a mass gathering shall make an application in Form D to the National Executive Committee within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Fire Officer shall ensure that hazard map is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Executive Committee within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
