STANDING ORDER
To
All Panchayat Inspectors,
Subject: The holding of a fair by licensees of a fair under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Andhra Pradesh Act 13 of 1994), the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of a fair by licensees of a fair.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a fair carrying on the holding of a fair shall make an application in Form 2 to the Director of Panchayats within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.
3. The Panchayat Inspector shall ensure that demand notice is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Panchayats within fourteen days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
