STANDING ORDER

To

All Civil Defence Officers,

Subject: Service as a civil defence volunteer by civil defence volunteers under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to service as a civil defence volunteer by civil defence volunteers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every civil defence volunteer carrying on service as a civil defence volunteer shall make an application in Form H to the State Executive Committee within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Civil Defence Officer shall ensure that evacuation plan is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Executive Committee within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
