Standing Order No. 2050/2006

STANDING ORDER

To

All Emergency Officers,

Subject: The running of a fuel station by operators of a fuel station under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a fuel station by operators of a fuel station.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a fuel station carrying on the running of a fuel station shall make an application in Form F to the Relief Commissioner within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Emergency Officer shall ensure that register of shelters is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Relief Commissioner within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
