STANDING ORDER
To
All Panchayat Inspectors,
Subject: The running of a village bus stand by licensees of a village bus stand under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Andhra Pradesh Act 13 of 1994), the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a village bus stand by licensees of a village bus stand.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a village bus stand carrying on the running of a village bus stand shall make an application in Form 7 to the Gram Sabha within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. The Panchayat Inspector shall ensure that tax receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Gram Sabha within forty-five days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
