STANDING ORDER
To
All Deputy Tahsildars,
Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Gujarat Agricultural Lands Ceiling Act, 1961, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Agricultural Lands Ceiling Act, 1961 (Gujarat Act 27 of 1961), the General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the survey of land by licensed surveyors.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. The Deputy Tahsildar shall ensure that mutation is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Revenue Divisional Officer within seven days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat.
