STANDING ORDER

To

All Fire Officers,

Subject: The operation of an early warning system by operators of an early warning system under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of an early warning system by operators of an early warning system.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of an early warning system carrying on the operation of an early warning system shall make an application in Form B to the District Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Fire Officer shall ensure that evacuation plan is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the District Authority within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
