STANDING ORDER

To

All Chiefs Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad,

Subject: The construction of a building in a village by owners of a building in a village under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Andhra Pradesh Act 13 of 1994), the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the construction of a building in a village by owners of a building in a village.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building in a village carrying on the construction of a building in a village shall make an application in Form 8 to the Zila Parishad within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. The Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad shall ensure that fair is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Zila Parishad within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
