STANDING ORDER

To

All Incident Commanders,

Subject: The storage of inflammable goods by owners of a warehouse of inflammable goods under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the storage of inflammable goods by owners of a warehouse of inflammable goods.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a warehouse of inflammable goods carrying on the storage of inflammable goods shall make an application in Form A to the Relief Commissioner within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Incident Commander shall ensure that hazard map is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Relief Commissioner within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
