STANDING ORDER

To

All Controllers of Accounts,

Subject: The supply of goods to the Government by registered suppliers under the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012 (Rajasthan Act 21 of 2012), the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the supply of goods to the Government by registered suppliers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every registered supplier carrying on the supply of goods to the Government shall make an application in Form GFR 41 to the Directorate of Treasuries within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Controller of Accounts shall ensure that register of contracts is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Directorate of Treasuries within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan.
