GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land in excess of the ceiling by holders of land in excess of the ceiling under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Tahsildar, the Government of Telangana, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land in excess of the ceiling carrying on the holding of land in excess of the ceiling shall furnish Form 12 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land in excess of the ceiling carrying on the holding of land in excess of the ceiling shall make an application in Form 12 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land in excess of the ceiling is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Telangana.
