Section 1, Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957 [S2F-09J]
As at 8 September 2026. In force from 23 November 1957.
1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Karnataka. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
