Section 1, Assam Rifles Act, 2006 [S22-R76]
As at 8 September 2026. In force from 18 May 2006.
1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Assam Rifles Act, 2006. (2) It extends to the whole of India. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
