Application for registration.—Every merchant banker carrying on the business of a merchant banker shall make an application for registration to the Depository in Form H, within forty-five days of the commencement of these bye-laws, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees and a statement of every statement of holdings held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
