Definitions.—In these bye-laws, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992); (b) "merchant banker" means a person carrying on the business of a merchant banker; (c) "disclosure" means a disclosure received, held or disposed of by a merchant banker in the course of the business of a merchant banker; (d) "Form A" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
