Regulation 2, SEBI (Forms of Custodians of securities) Regulations, 2016 [SAJ-68F]

Definitions.—In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992); (b) "custodian of securities" means a person carrying on the custody of securities; (c) "statement of holdings" means a statement of holdings received, held or disposed of by a custodian of securities in the course of the custody of securities; (d) "Form C" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
