Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the research analyst shall apply to the Central Government in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Central Government shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
