Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these regulations shall be kept at the office of the Central Government in the custody of the Deputy General Manager, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Central Government; and where the Deputy General Manager having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form B within forty-five days of the succession.
