2. Definitions.—In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "establishment" includes a Government establishment and private establishment; (b) "Chief Commissioner" means the Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities appointed under this Act; (c) "Commission" means the Commission constituted under this Act; (d) "notification" means a notification published in the Official Gazette, and the expression "notified" shall be construed accordingly; (e) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
