Section 4, Kerala Police Act, 2011 [S2M-VES]

4. Registration of certifying authorities.—(1) Every certifying authority shall, within seventy-two hours from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the issue of electronic signature certificates after such commencement, within seventy-two hours from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Board in Form B, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees. (2) The Board shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No certifying authority shall carry on the issue of electronic signature certificates unless registered under this section.
