Section 11, Tamil Nadu Groundwater (Development and Management) Act, 2003 [S2K-XNF]

11. Registration of users of water.—(1) Every user of water shall, within sixty days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the use of water after such commencement, within sixty days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Board in Form C, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees. (2) The Board shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No user of water shall carry on the use of water unless registered under this section.
