11. Procedure for the execution of works for a Panchayat.—(1) Every contractor engaged by a Panchayat shall, before undertaking the execution of works for a Panchayat, intimate the Gram Panchayat in writing, specifying the market concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Gram Panchayat may, within thirty days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
