Section 2, Maharashtra Mathadi, Hamal and Other Manual Workers Act, 1969 [S2G-WPN]

2. Definitions.—In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "insured person" means a person who is or was an employee in respect of whom contributions are or were payable under this Act; (b) "Corporation" means the Corporation established under this Act; (c) "notification" means a notification published in the Official Gazette, and the expression "notified" shall be construed accordingly; (d) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
