32. Registration of shopkeepers in a village market.—(1) Every shopkeeper in a village market shall, within thirty days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the keeping of a shop in a village market after such commencement, within thirty days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Gram Panchayat in Form 3, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees. (2) The Gram Panchayat shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No shopkeeper in a village market shall carry on the keeping of a shop in a village market unless registered under this section.
