2. Definitions.—In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "court" means a court of civil jurisdiction and includes a tribunal constituted under this Act; (b) "legal practitioner" means an advocate entered on the roll under the Advocates Act, 1961 (25 of 1961); (c) "Registrar" means the Registrar appointed under this Act and includes an Assistant Registrar; (d) "notification" means a notification published in the Official Gazette, and the expression "notified" shall be construed accordingly; (e) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
