Section 2, Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1882 [S2D-F09]

2. Definitions.—In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "State Board" means a State Pollution Control Board constituted under section 4 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (6 of 1974); (b) "notification" means a notification published in the Official Gazette, and the expression "notified" shall be construed accordingly; (c) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
