25. Registration of licensees of a fair.—(1) Every licensee of a fair shall, within fifteen days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the holding of a fair after such commencement, within fifteen days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Gram Panchayat in Form 2, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees. (2) The Gram Panchayat shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No licensee of a fair shall carry on the holding of a fair unless registered under this section.
