Section 32, Prevention of Blackmarketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 [S1R-889]

32. Registration of manufacturers.—(1) Every manufacturer shall, within thirty days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the manufacture of food after such commencement, within thirty days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Food Authority in Form D, accompanied by a fee of seven thousand five hundred rupees. (2) The Food Authority shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No manufacturer shall carry on the manufacture of food unless registered under this section.
