Rule 3, Foreigners Law (Application and Amendment) Act Rules, 1962 [S1H-5FM]

3. Application for registration.—(1) An application for registration under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act shall be made to the passport authority in Form A, in duplicate, and shall be accompanied by the documents specified in that Form. (2) The passport authority shall, within fourteen days of the receipt of an application which is complete in all respects, issue a certificate of registration in Form C.
