Section 4, Epidemic Disease Act, 1897 [S15-9Q5]

4. Registration of hospitals.—(1) Every hospital shall, within fifteen days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the running of a hospital after such commencement, within fifteen days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Licensing Authority in Form 25, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees. (2) The Licensing Authority shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No hospital shall carry on the running of a hospital unless registered under this section.
