STANDING ORDER

To

All Branch Managers,

Subject: The running of a facilitation centre by facilitation centres under the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982), the Labour Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a facilitation centre by facilitation centres.

2. The matter has been examined. Every facilitation centre carrying on the running of a facilitation centre shall make an application in Form 12 to the Standing Committee within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Branch Manager shall ensure that contribution card is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Standing Committee within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
