Section 1, Civil Defence Act, 1968 [S1K-F6V]
As at 7 September 2026. In force from 10 July 1968.
1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Civil Defence Act, 1968. (2) It extends to the whole of India. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
