Section 1, Brahmaputra Board Act, 1980 [S1R-J7G]
As at 7 September 2026. In force from 4 November 1980.
1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Brahmaputra Board Act, 1980. (2) It extends to the whole of India. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
