Section 1, Bombay Irrigation Act, 1879 [S2D-DRM]
As at 7 September 2026. In force from 11 March 1879.
1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Bombay Irrigation Act, 1879. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
