Section 1, Bihar Tenancy Act, 1885 [S2D-FYG]
As at 7 September 2026. In force from 3 March 1885.
1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Bihar Tenancy Act, 1885. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Bihar. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
